Do you find yourself throwing things in the trash that might otherwise be recycled because the recycling bin is just too far away? I admit to having done that in the past and it was bugging me.
Here’s a solution that works for me & a picture of the “cute” recycling bin that sits under my desk in my home office. Everything from magazines, to paper (after both sides have been used for copying of course) and yes – all cardboard from toilet paper rolls. Once the bin is full, I take it down to the recycling in our very hot garage! Given the international demand for paper and knowing how much time & water it takes to grow a tree – every bit of paper we can recycle helps. And it’s easy to make recycling this way a family affair.
Here’s to all taking small steps to make a bigger impact.
